    Tibet: What’s Coming Next?

    By Paul Midler | March 14, 2008

It seems that all hell is breaking loose in Tibet. It’s been nearly 20 years since Lhasa has seen such violence and rioting, and Chinese political leaders must at this very moment be contemplating their next move. NPR’s Anthony Kuhn ran an interesting segment, pointing out one detail worth a mention:

“…when the last wave of major unrest shook Tibet — in 1989 — the region’s Communist Party boss did not hesitate to unleash a harsh military and political crackdown. That boss, Hu Jintao, is now China’s president.”

I think this incident gave the US perfect excuses to invade and occupy Iraq: China did it in Tibet too!!!

China has a right in Tibet. It is a part of China. The foreigner media should stay out of China affairs that are domestic.

Very well put “Wang”!! You must be a highly educated PhD. candidate right? You make China proud…

I agree with you…if they don’t like what they see, then they should GET THE HELL OUT, right??

Actually this will be great justice for the Tibetans to be able to poke Hu in the eye and possibily subvert the Olympics at the same time. Godspeed…AND if the Taiwanese flank ‘em on the Eastern front things will definately get interesting….It’s all about timing when fighting someone much larger than yourself…
